The room we were originally in did not have functioning AC. The onsite staff member (Victoria) was quick to move us into a new room to ensure we were comfortable for the remainder of our stay. She was very pleasant and helpful. After our stay, we required a detailed invoice and the owner of the villa was kind a d quick to answer our request. The facility itself was beautiful, comfortable and clean. There was lots to do within the grounds and a decent breakfast every morning. Highly recommend!

Great location and the host and family were very friendly and helpful.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking hotel has a hot tub and evening entertainment. Architecturally and design-wise absolutely perfect, down to the smallest detail. Parking on site, super helpful staff, high chair for babies, great pizzeria in the same building as the hotel, super comfy beds and baby crib, great pressure in showers, excellent breakfast (eggs to order, fresh juices, freshly cut ham and cheese etc - if you don't speak Italian just ask for all of these - ex. fresh yogurt is in fridge, not on the buffet; you need to ask for cooked eggs/omelette yourself). The town is cute, a couple of great patisseries (Russo was one of our favorites in all our travels to Italy), location close to Etna while not too far away from the beach,

Located 30 km from Mazzaro Beach, Il Casale di Monacella offers ski-to-door access, pool with a view and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. The accommodation and grounds were spectacular. You can see Mount Etna and the sea from the top of the hill within the properties boundaries. The garden is well maintained and beautifully landscaped with ornamental features everywhere you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into it. The property is gorgeous with 6 separate accommodations under one roof. The room sizes were great and comfortably fitted the 5 of us. The property had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Monica was a great host and always checked that everything was ok, she even gave us a map of local restaurants and other places we may need during our stay. We hadn’t originally booked to stay here but after our original accommodation fell well below our standards we booked Il Casale di Monacella via booking.com and arrived 2 hours later. Monica couldn’t have done anymore for us and literally saved our holiday. Thank you Monica ☺️

Giovanni was an excellent host and we will definitely be back whenever we visit Etna again. The B&B is very well equipped and situated just 30 minutes away from Etna making it the perfect location if you would like to center your holiday around ETNA/Catania/Taormina/Savoca etc. We were welcomed with our dogs with open arms and we couldn't be more grateful. The breakfast was also a highlight to our day. Overall a wonderful stay at Giovanni's who was always willing to help us and suggest places to go. Thank you
