Excellent communication prior to arrival informing me of directions to get there and info about the Interlaken guest card they provide us with. Excellent facilities (big, well-equiped kitchen, plenty of lockers for storage, delicious breakfast, toilet in bedroom). Staff were all friendly and had good knowledge on things to do in the area. They seemed to have good systems in place for check in. Good location situated between the East and West train stations. Highly recommend!

All rooms have a balcony, seating area with cable TV and a private bathroom. Some have unobstructed views of Winkelmatten. Several have views of Mount Matterhorn. All are rustically furnished. Several have a wood-paneled ceiling and solid wood ceiling beams. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Very personal service from David, who welcomed us with tea and cake and helped us with local information, bus, restaurants etc. Breakfast and dining facilities were excellent and the view of the Matterhorn was unforgettable. We will stay there again.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The location was beyond my imagination, my room on the third floor had the most beatiful view i have ever had in any room. the room was huge, with 3 bedrooms and a large living and dining area. the kitchen was very well equiped. The breakfast was also great with many options, lacking only a toaster.
