Unfortunately, we stayed only one night on our way to other destination but we fully enjoyed our stay there! It was very quiet, very confortable beds and pillows, very good breakfast and coffee, free private parking. There was an amazing lady at reception on our check out day (my apologies for forgotten your name, dear kind and amazing lady) who helped us with the tourist cards for the bus and she reccomended us where to and visit! The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. It also features a unique spa area in the goats' stable. The location is really good. Though it’s not near the train station, it’s only 20min walk or 15min ride with the free bus service given by the hotel. The view of the hotel, I would say, it’s much better than those next to the train station and the main road - simply choose rooms with mountain views. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. And the facilities are great with no complaints.

Charming old-fashioned hotel, with a beautiful view of the famous Staubbach waterfall. Breakfast was excellent, staff was great. There is lovley lounge area where refreshments are available for free till 10pm. The attic room we booked was small, but very clean, cozy and cute. We really enjoyed it! Wish I could have stayed longer.
