The Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn cable car is 800 metres away and the stop of the free ski bus can be found right in front of the hotel. A riding centre can be reached within a few minutes drive and the city of Villach is 10 km away. The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

The units come with parquet floors and feature a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, a dining area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom with shower and a hair dryer. Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with mountain or lake views. At the apartment complex, all units are fitted with bed linen and towels.

Skiing, cycling and hiking are possible within the area, and the apartment offers ski storage space. Great accommodation and very convenient in every way. Lovely hostess that gave us some great tips for the visit.

A selection of activities are offered in the area, such as skiing, snowboaring, horse riding, windsurfing and diving. A paragliding landing spot is in the immediate vicinity of the property. Several hiking and cycling tracks start right outside. The house is located very close to Ossiach Lake and in a strategic position for visiting all of Carinthia, since it is close to Villach and within an hour's drive of most destinations. The house and kitchen were equipped with everything necessary for long stays (two hair dryers, washing machine, dryer, pots and pans, cooking utensils,...). The owner, Petra, was very kind and always willing to help. I am especially grateful to her for immediately recommending that we purchase the Kärnten Card, which provides free access to many attractions in the area. The garden is well maintained and contains various playground equipment for children, a tennis table, and a barbecue (unfortunately, with all the things we had to do, we didn't have time to use the latter, but we still enjoyed the garden and deck chairs to relax after our walks and visits during the day).

Set in Ossiach, 12 km from Fortress Landskron, Pension Neuhof offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. You can play table tennis at this 3-star guest house, and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. Hiking is possible within the area and Pension Neuhof offers ski storage space. Breakfast is excellent - choice of locally made cheese and marmalade (super tasty!), bread so delicious you want to try all pieces! Very rich selection of warm and cold options, meaty and vegetarian. Paradise! You can easily stay active hiking around or cycling using numerous good quality cycling routes. Pension has private access to the lake so you can swim, use paddle boards or boat... Staff is very friendly and helpful, always with smile on their faces. Well done, Gregor and all the team!

The apartment has a garden to relax in after a busy day, along with ski storage space. We visited for the 2nd time. Great property by the lake. To our surprise they updated the toilet and the bathroom since our last visit. Will come back again.

Located in Annenheim, Atelier Ronacher is 70 metres from the Gerlitzen-Kanzelbahn Cable Car and just 100 metres from the shore of Lake Ossiach. Each apartment offers a balcony or terrace, lake views, and free WiFi. Every thing is available and like home All facilities are next to you I rent car so travel even easy very very good view every day and night won’t be last for me for sure

The closest slopes are only 5 km away and a free shuttle service to the Ski Area is offered. A ski storage is also available directly next to the slopes. Beautiful view, clean and tidy, equipped with love, friendly and nice owners..
