Mohamed is a great host. We walked from Imlil to be greeted by him outside his cafe at the edge of the village. He gave us tea and made a delicious tagine before we headed to the property. The property was very clean with a nice warm shower. Mohammed was a great host and would sit and laugh with us for hours. We decided to stay a second night as we enjoyed his company and the property so much. He cooked a great breakfast and gave us some snacks for our day of walking. On the second night he took us down into another village in the valley that you probably wouldn’t visit to have tea with his friend. Everything about this hotel was perfect! The location in the mountains is absolutely stunning – like a dream. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The service, the cleanliness, the food, and the overall atmosphere were all amazing. It was a peaceful and unforgettable experience. I truly enjoyed every moment and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beauty, comfort, and relaxation. I would love to come back again!

The place is quiet and the view is wonderful. The owner of the place Mr. Lahssein is very friendly. You feel like he is a member of your family because of his good treatment and kind words. An excellent place to clear your mind in the middle of the mountains.

Has everything needed to enjoy some days in the mountains. Great hospitality and location. We opted to have dinner all nights, and it was always super delicious and fairly priced. Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hostel with an incredibly beautiful view. The staff, especially Khadija, were super friendly and always willing to help. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area. It’s a great blend of comfort, affordability, and a welcoming environment.

Hassan knows the surroundings perfectly well and gave us many useful hints for getting around (on request, never pushy).

Our stay at Tonaroz House was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and felt instantly at home. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and caring, ensuring that we were comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. The location is perfect, offering peaceful surroundings and breathtaking scenery, making it an ideal base for hiking and exploring the Atlas Mountains. The atmosphere was calm and authentic, far removed from anything touristy, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of the region. The food was excellent—dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, while breakfast was fresh, hearty, and the perfect way to start the day. Every meal felt homemade with love. One of the true highlights for us was the resident cats, Gaga and Sofinia. They were so friendly and affectionate, making the stay even more special. Even though the evenings were chilly, we were provided with plenty of blankets, and it actually added to the charm of the experience. The entire place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained—we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Between my partner and I, we’ve stayed in countless hotels and accommodations around the world, and we can honestly say that Tonaroz House is one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for authentic Berber hospitality, stunning landscapes, and a peaceful retreat, this is the place. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat! 10/10 – an absolutely magical stay. 🏔️✨

We had a wonderful stay! The view from the terrace and window was simply gorgeous, and the accommodation was cozy and authentic. Everything was clean, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The food was fantastic, with a delicious three-course dinner featuring soup, a flavorful tajine, and dessert, as well as a tasty breakfast. Youssef was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
