Very nice hosts. Big appartement with living room and kitchen separate and with a lot of extras like more towels, toiletries and I specifically liked the free bicycle. Nice green surroundings.

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Varenna. The room was excellent—spacious, clean, and equipped with a washing machine, which is especially convenient for long trips like us when you need to do some laundry. The breakfast was good, and the lady at reception was very kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the trail walk down the hill to Varenna town, where I discovered an amazing restaurant. Walking back up trail to the hotel after dinner was an unforgettable experience

Beautiful rustique home- 200m from touristic train and 50 m from bus station. Our host was very helpfull- they meet us at the ferry and drive us to their home. Also they told us which are the best restaurants, excursions etc

A very cozy and beautifully designed place. Breakfast and also dinner at the restaurant were excellent. The owner is very welcoming, and everything was just perfect.

The Meridiana is a small family-run hotel offering direct access to Lake Como from its garden, and 2 terraces. Rooms are compact and cosy.

A lovely property perched above the lake, offering stunning and unforgettable views. The space is clean, tidy, cosy and spacious, with all the amenities we needed. The location is great: just a 5-10 minute drive to the Varenna ferry terminal. I’d recommend having a car or using taxis as it’s a hilly walk to and fro. The hosts are warm, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Easy check-in and check-out thanks to their clear communication and instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay and highly recommend this gem of a place!

Our stay at Villa Gli Ulivi was just perfect. The location overlooking the lake was awesome. Our fatigue just disappeared as soon as we stepped onto the balcony of the living room. We had a big group of 13 people but the accommodation was sufficient. The kitchen had all the required kitchenware. The hosts were very friendly. They had even kept a bottle of wine for us as a welcome drink. If you want a peaceful, relaxed stay of 3-4 days near lake como, then this a very good place. The ferry point is 8-10 min walk by stairs and 20-25 minutes by road. Plus the town itself has such a beautiful lakefront with restaurants. Great stay. Would definitely come back if any trip materializes.
