The breakfast was easy but tasty. This accommodation is not primarily for guests used to spend nights in classic hotels. It is a hostel and you need to bear that in mind. This does not change the fact that this accommodation is in a great location. The view of the mountains is truly stunning and healing. The staff was very helpful and warm. We only saw smiles. Parking is free directly in front of the accommodation for hostel guests. We booked two apartments 120 and 121 with their own bathroom and there was also a private kitchen available. Everything beautifully clean. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but someone will definitely like a harder bed. I obviously have a spoiled back :) The attached photo is the view from the window of our apartment. Well isn't that great? At night you go to sleep with the cows in the pasture and in the morning you are woken up by a neighing horse. Nothing else to say. I will definitely return to this accommodation one day.

Breakfast was fantastic - especially the selection, which felt genuinely Bavarian, with no compromises on quality bread and fresh rolls, including some delicious Laugenbrötchen. There was also some of the classic English breakfast, though honestly, I didn’t need it. I also really appreciated how the place preserved some of its original charm, like the old balcony doors and front-facing windows. It’s such a refreshing feeling when not everything is modernized - sometimes the traditional touches offer more comfort and character.

This hotel stands within a grand castle estate overlooking Tegernsee Lake, and offers a wellness area, outdoor and indoor pools and a sauna. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Breakfast was exceptional! Stuff was very friendly. we were there with our baby girl and i was surprised how child friendly the hotel is, this was a big plus!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The private, quiet location away from tourists makes it feel like a true hidden retreat. The design is full of character and quiet luxury, with thoughtful details everywhere. the stone-style walls and the modern, very comfortable room. The spa is beautifully designed—private, calm, and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant brings a warm Bavarian atmosphere with its traditional wooden décor, and the breakfast was fantastic. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home and will definitely return.

The location cannot be beat; mountains on all sides. The dining room is upscale rustic, very charming. Staff very friendly and helpful, food fresh and interesting. The most comfortable comforter on the bed that I've ever had. Loved that our room for 4 had a door for privacy for adults. Shower also great. We hiked Wallberg (bring spikes in winter), and did some sledding (we borrowed their wooden sleds). The whole weekend was cloudy at the lake but not where we were: above the clouds in the sunshine! Staff brought a nice cake for birthday, a surprise.
