The hotel is opulence fit for royalty. Everything from the rooms, breakfast, service desk (who literally handle everything you need assistance with regarding bookings, taxis, recommendations etc), restaurants (we dined at Johann Grill) and even the lounge menu was excellent. Special shout out to Antonio at the bar who makes the BEST Manhattans ever :)

This is a beautiful loft apartment in a beautiful location. We arrived by train and it's an easy, flat 10 minute walk from the station to the apartment. Keys were easy to find. Belinda, the host, is very helpful and supportive. The apartment is well appointed and a cosy, comfortable 'home'. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is great. Since it's a loft apartment, it is necessary to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. There is a supermarket about 5 minutes away, also on the flat. To get into Berchtesgaden, it is a steep, short walk up the hill. Or it is possible to walk to the station and get a bus up the hill. The bus connections from the station are excellent. We were able to get the bus to Salzburg right near the house.

It is a bit off the beaten track but no problem to reach with car and with parking facilities. Quiet and with a very nice view from the balcony.

I am fortunate to have chosen this hotel. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the train station, bus station, and supermarket. The room rate includes breakfast. Due to the off-season, hotel staff upgraded the room with a balcony, which is spacious and has a good view. The best choice for traveling to King's Lake and Ramsau.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grünberger. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable for the cold winter. The hotel served hot drinks and cookies in their living room which was a lovely end to each day. Totally recommended!

Surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery in the Bavarian Alps, and situated near Berechtesgaden railway station and town centre, this guest house enjoys a traditional and friendly ambience.

such a lovely place to stay when in Berchtesgaden, I had great time there and highly recommend it. Hotel room is sparkling clean, spacious, and has pleasant aesthetics (like the whole hotel). there are heaters in the bedroom and the bathroom, strong water pressure in the shower with boiling water any time. room is quiet and bed is big and comfortable, there is a little balcony to sit out and relax. breakfast presented in a beautiful room, where it is evident that every small detail is taking care of, from little personal varied spreads to deserts, all fresh and tasty. The location is 4 minutes walk to the central bus station, so it is very convenient if you like me do hiking and using the online guest card you receive from the hotel on arrival for free public transport to the trailheads and other places. and lastly the manager and staff was all so kind and helpful, you're in good hands.
