The property location was breath taking! Walking up to beautiful views for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday. Bastian the host was exceptional throughout this booking getting back to any of my enquiries and even set up a surprise balloon decoration and bottle of bubbly on arrival. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Where to start? The place is a little island of peace and quietness in the middle of a forrest. At the same time, it is extremely close to the village (15 minutes walking distance). In addition, there is a private transport service organised by the hotel, which was extremely convenient for skiing. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They go the extra mile to make your stay nothing less than perfect, and do so while creating a very personal atmosphere. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which offers a very good selection of local and European dishes, and the wine selection is exquisite. Even though the rating of the WiFi on this website is a bit lower, the hotel fixed this convincingly by providing you with a wifi receiver to take to the room. This fully solved any issue that might have been there in the past, since the wireless internet worked perfectly.

The accommodation is great. They are new apartments that are well maintained, everything was perfectly clean and prepared. We had a ground-floor apartment so the children could use the snowy spot in front of the terrace at any time. Everyone is very nice from the receptionists to the cleaners, quick responses on chat. We were really very satisfied.

We were upgraded right upon arrival, and had ample space in a large appartement for the full family. The appartement was very clean, two bathrooms and a lovely view. The breakfast gave all we needed: great bread, cheese and nicely served coffee and juice! The location right next to Riederalp Mirte is very central!

Located at an altitude of 2100 metres, Hamilton Lodge & Spa can easily be reached by an eight minutes cable car ride from Blatten bei Naters.

The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

They were very flexible in terms of check-in time, payment, etc. The owner was very warm and welcoming and very pleasant to talk to.

This traditional 3-star hotel in the car-free village of Bettmeralp offers panoramic views of the Valais Alps and the Matterhorn. The Bettmeralp cable car is only 400 metres away.
