Christoph’s warm hug and hospitality is exactly what you need after the hike up to the dormitories. Make no mistake, it is an uphill climb, make sure your heart can take it. If you have heavy bags, please take the last funicular up to Allmendhubel from Mürren before 5pm. We had no regrets, Christophe received us right at the door and brought us warm snacks when we reached. Excellent service, dormitories were spacious and comfortable for our needs, you may leave your luggage there. Highly recommend!

I experienced the fastest check-in of my entire travel career: I simply said my name, and I was handed the room key — no prepayment, no passport number check, no forms to fill out, no credit card details.
