Kat was a great host - very efficient, bubbly and friendly. Hot tub on the back deck. Loved the location - at the end of a cul-de-sac in a beautiful forest. Could watch the wildlife from our window and see deer tracks in the snow in the morning. Easily the most beautiful location in Golden, about 3 Km outside of town. Needs a car to get there. We had the self contained apartment, which was lovely and although we did not expect any housekeeping, Kat did come and service the apartment twice during our 8 day stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and even supplied baking paper! Highly recommend it!

Vagabond Lodge was an exceptional place to stay. It was in a fabulous location, spotlessly clean, lots of relaxing spaces to use and very tasty and fresh breakfast options.
