I highly recommend Pension Wanderruh. The rooms are very nice and cozy, with excellent cleanliness, and the staff is pleasant and welcoming. We had a beutifull fresh fowers in our room. While we had to travel a bit longer for better ski conditions, it was due to an exceptionally warm winter. Overall, a delightful place to stay.

The house is in the middle of a quiet wonderful valley, with a beautiful view from the balcony. Very well equipped. Fully functional and yet charming. It was a very good choice for our preferences.

The hotel was in a quiet and great location surrounded by green. The room was very tidy and large enough for 4 people. The breakfast was wonderful. The reception was very helpful and friendly. The check-in was easy because the restaurant was open and the proprietor was on the premises. I got a room with a balcony and I could enjoy the afternoon sunshine from there. The food in the restaurant is excellent (try the "käsespätzle!) and the locally brewed bier is fantastic. They even have an alcohol-free version! I was just driving through but I am sure that the place and the surroundings would be worth a longer stay. The place is not so far from the motorway but still in the middle of nature, outside the village of Pettenbach.

- location is really good for Gmunden itself, but also for visiting Salzburg and Linz - apartment is new, modern and really big - perfect for 5 people - the host was really helpful with the check in process - kitchen is quite well equipped, we were only missing a wine opener :)
