THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. Very friendly and, what is no less important, completely unobtrusive staff. A wonderful room for evening tea, wine or beer! =) It was very nice to be able to check in after reception closed (the keys were left in the safe with a pin code). Excellent breakfast - clear and filling.

This wasn't our first time in Seehotel and I just love the place. Everything is perfect to every detail. The breakfasts are awesome, full of all kind of delicatessen. Sauna area is awesome and tranquil place where you can just relax, drink tea and read your book. The views both from the room and the sauna are spectacular and I love jumping to the cold Traunsee. I also appreciate those little activities like cooking käsespätzle with Lukas or music under the christmas tree. This makes my experience even better. I hope I will return for another New Years eve.
