Set in Kailua-Kona, 2 km from Magic Sands Beach, The Bamboo House has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. The house itself is absolutely amazing, we loved it. We stayed in Satori suite, and the room was spacious enough for a couple, the balcony was pretty big, with a table with two chairs and a hammock. In the bathroom there was everything you needed (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, earplugs, even face masks - loved them, etc.). The living room, kitchen, terrace and garden were common spaces, where we could share experiences with the host and other guests. The house was made with really good taste, it was very clean and cozy - the perfect stay for our honeymoon.

My stay with Michelle in Kona was simply wonderful! The room with private bathroom was not only spotlessly clean, but exactly as described – maybe even better. You could tell right away that Michelle puts her heart into hosting: warm, attentive, and always with a smile. She had fantastic tips for excursions and restaurants that made my time on Big Island even more special. I felt completely comfortable and welcome, almost like staying with a good friend. Everything I needed was there – and then a little extra. Definitely 5 stars from me, and a wholehearted recommendation! 🌺

It’s completely off grid and still super cute, cozy, and comfortable with everything we needed. This was the perfect spot to stay while exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend staying here!

Situated in North Hilo, 2.6 km from Kolekole Beach Park, Mahana House Country Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. This 4-star inn offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 22 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. We stayed at Mahana House for two nights and absolutely loved it. The cottage was beautiful and incredibly comfortable — the bed even had adjustable firmness settings! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there was a laundry room where we could wash and dry our clothes for free. The cat was adorable, and for the first time, my husband changed his opinion about cats — he actually liked this one! Randy takes great care of the orchard, and the longans were delicious. We truly appreciated the peaceful surroundings — it was perfect for mindfulness and relaxation. We shared photos on Instagram, and so many of our friends are now planning to visit too! It’s about a 15-minute drive from Hilo town, so having a car is necessary — but totally worth it. This place is truly a dream stay. Highly recommended!
