The air-conditioned accommodation is a few steps from Kahanamoku Beach, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Featuring a private entrance, the apartment allows guests to maintain their privacy. The location & view were both fantastic. The unit was tasteful & well furnished. Check is was easy & instructions provided were easy to follow. Hosts kept us updated & were available if needed. Easy walk to restaurants & tour operator located in the lobby was easy to deal with & helpful.

Set in Kailua-Kona, 2 km from Magic Sands Beach, The Bamboo House has a garden, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Well-equipped room. All you would need was available (from toothpaste tablets to sunscreen, after sun, face masks, insect repellent,...). Nice bathroom and spacious room with a cozy private outside deck overviewing the garden. Very clean and organized shared kitchen, living room and outside area. Good location as well.

At the homestay, each unit comes with bed linen and towels. The host greeted us upon our arrival late at night and happily shared about all the exceptional amenities. Beautiful shared space for a short stay with a beautiful ocean view and access to an inviting swimming pool. We did not make the time to enjoy the pool on this visit; next time. The space was well organized with bins to store food items and access to fridge space on a nice outdoor veranda overlooking plush trees and a spectacular view of the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful first stop on the island. Great first impression!

Feel at home atmosphere, very cosy, large living room perfect to relax. Kelly is a wonderful caring host who gave us lots of tips, told about Big Island and made delicious breakfast. Snacks, coffee and tea available. Simply great, highly reccommended.

Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations. Incredibly comfortable bed and they had the room heated upon our arrival from a cold afternoon of trekking through the volcano park. There were so many lovely little touches to make our stay extra comfortable such as nibbles ready on our check-in and breakfast all sorted for the morning. A very easy drive into Volcano Park. Completely recommend.

Mychelle was a very kind host who gave us excellent suggestions where to go snorkeling and see marine life.

Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with mountain views. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Situated in North Hilo, 2.6 km from Kolekole Beach Park, Mahana House Country Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. This 4-star inn offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 22 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. We stayed at Mahana House for two nights and absolutely loved it. The cottage was beautiful and incredibly comfortable — the bed even had adjustable firmness settings! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there was a laundry room where we could wash and dry our clothes for free. The cat was adorable, and for the first time, my husband changed his opinion about cats — he actually liked this one! Randy takes great care of the orchard, and the longans were delicious. We truly appreciated the peaceful surroundings — it was perfect for mindfulness and relaxation. We shared photos on Instagram, and so many of our friends are now planning to visit too! It’s about a 15-minute drive from Hilo town, so having a car is necessary — but totally worth it. This place is truly a dream stay. Highly recommended!
