The apartment is clean, comfortable, well-designed, and well-equipped. It’s within walking distance to a supermarket, snack bar, and restaurant. You can not only see the sea and mountains, but also hear the soothing sounds of the ocean and local wildlife—so peaceful and relaxing. Silvia and her husband are incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly. The welcome basket was filled with delicious treats, and Silvia even gave me some local fruit, which was such a lovely gesture.

I'll just add thoughtful touches,, which are not visible in the photos (can confirm, that they really corespond the reality), but makes this place exceptional: 1)shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, 2) white bathrobes with seperate towels for sunbathing, 3) single-use toiletries, 4) basket of treats, 5) portable spotlight for night swiming in the pool and many more.

I loved the back porch. To my left was the ocean. To my right was Mt. Pico.

Situated in São Roque do Pico, Aldeia das Adegas has a garden, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. It was one of the most unique and original places we stayed in Azores. The house was big with the kitchen that had everything you need and even a washing machine with detergent! I especially liked to see that they have a green key award:)
