The folks running the place clearly care about their guests and are very caring and kind. They provide tons of information about Hakata Island, and have curated a restaurant and map of where you can go for food since there isn’t too much on the island. We felt so cared for and looked after when we arrived after cycling for 4 hours in the pouring rain. Very old world outside but modern inside with all that you could need for your stay. The sunset from the bay was spectacular. It was really quiet and peaceful but only 5 minutes away from the city with its shops and restaurants.

We loved that we could have breakfast delivered in the morning and somewhere safe to store our bikes (as we were riding the Shiminami Kaido). It was also nice to be within walking distance of a restaurant.
