The sofa and chairs were beautiful and very comfortable as were the beds. We were very appreciative of the Nespresso coffee machine (our favorites at each of our homes). We didn't cook, but bought Croatian cheeses and meats for a few dinners. The views from the windows were breathtaking. No matter which window we looked from had a perfect view. Stefani went out of her way to help us get our bags up to the apartment and went with my husband to park the car, as the apartment was in a car free area. She also insisted that she help us with our bags on our return to the car. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Porta Maestra. Hvar is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our walks and very good restaurants.

It's a perfect stay in Hvar for someone looking for a spacious, new and modern looking apartament, up to date facilities, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen is fully equiped if you're the cook at home type. There are free, safe parking spaces available at the property. The location itself is a 8-10 min walk from the harbour and old town/city center and a 10 min walk from an amazing small beach inside a small golf with crystal clear perfect blue water but make sure you have some proper shoes as the route is rocky. The balcony view from the penthouse is mesmerising. The owner is a nice, friendly lady.

On the balcony in the evening it is very nice to watch the sunset and parked yachts with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Everything in the apartments is new. There are many restaurants in the area. But the area is quiet, no discos and loud music. The apartments have a small kitchen and there are bakeries, shops, supermarkets nearby. All the dishes are there. There is a small refrigerator. There is only a washing machine. Entrance to the building is on the side by stairs, there is no elevator. Parking is remote, the apartments are in a pedestrian zone.

Trust them for the recommendations for the city and Island, more than 90% are absolutely accurate and correct. Regarding the comments from other guests about the operation of the air conditioner, the batteries in its remote control had to be changed.

Though small, it has all the conveniences you would need: great A/C and de-humidifier, great shower pressure, great Wifi, a nice little balcony, large TV monitor with Netflix and Amazon Prime (though we did not use it), well-stocked kitchen, a refrigerator that is spacious and works very well. It was very clean; they provide lots of towels. And it's also very high-tech: you use Alexa to turn lights and appliances on and off. They also allowed us to do a late check out, which was super nice. Apt is next to the center of town (3-minute walk), but in a quiet little corner. Overall, great stay. We loved the place and would gladly come back. Thank you for offering such a great apartment.
