I also appreciate her kindness as I injured my ankle on a morning walk and she gave me some helpful things to help tend to my injury. We weren't able to arrive during the check in times, after contacting the owner they were more than happy to wait for our arrival. They also allowed us a late check out as it helped with the plans we had. The suite was beautifully decorated, the heating was on ready for our arrival and milk in the fridge ready for a cuppa.

Situated in the garden of a home, it's updated to a high, tasteful standard, with new everything! The owners had fresh artisan bread and diet-restriction-friendly options for our breakfast waiting for us, with jams and butters and milks and juices. Toaster, microwave, fridge, sink, all were in great working order and made for a lovely breakfast for us before we started out again on our walk. There is a pub a few steps outside the door, but there was no noise at all from it in the evening. The windows overlook the churchyard behind the cottage, the owners graciously shared their clothesline with me so I could dry my hiking clothes, and their dogs are lovely! A truly luxurious spot on the Two Moors Way!
