Since we walked from the airport, it was a perfect location for us (on the street into town). Blackout curtains help keep out the morning light. There's a kitchenette with enough utensils to cook a simple meal. An air conditioner worked well and came in handy during a sandstorm.

This very large and light apartment, huge to accommodate up to 5 people. Very quite and central location, easy access to everything you need. Also owner.. she helped even before we came.. Zuela creates atmosphere of Italy, high level of hospitality, warm and kind communication, Italian food literally next door. It was amazing staying.

The hosts are so friendly and helpful, arranging everything for me and even taking the time to walk me to the colectivo station so I could get a cheaper ride back to the airport than possible with a taxi. The apartment itself has everything you need and there is a great grocery store around the corner, plus countless good restaurants and coffee shops in east walking distance. You get all the benefit of Santa Maria’s amenities without feeling cloistered in a resort.

The house and rooms are immaculate, there is a pleasant upper story terrace, and the breakfast was terrific.
