Spacious cabin with everything needed - solid fuel stove, kitchen, etc. Lovely quiet location with nice views over the river Alejandro was very helpful - great communication and very friendly. Also dropped us over extra wood for the stove on our 3rd day.

We have stayed in Coyhaique several times and this is far the best for value for money.

Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with mountain or garden views. All units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. I had a wonderful stay at the Calafate. The location provides a spectacular view of Coyhaique and Cerro Mackay, and the panoramic windows in the room permitted full appreciation of it. It was only a 15 minute drive from the centre of town, and the hotel provided the contact of the charming Don Manuel, whom I used as a reliable and fairly priced taxi service. The staff were incredibly friendly, the decore and layout of the property outstanding, and the breakfast was ample and delicious.

It was big, convenient and nice. It was a cold day, and we received warm blankets and the nice host lit the fire for us. Breakfast was okay.
