She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

The small on-site store with local wine and honey was a lovely touch. The hot tub on the terrace was absolutely stunning—a perfect place to relax while enjoying the scenery. Don’t worry about the road—yes, it’s narrow, but never busy, with plenty of passing spots. Locals handle it with ease. In our week-long stay, we only met someone on the road once, and we easily passed using a safety spot. Plus, there are plenty of stores and restaurants down in the town, so everything you need is within reach. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We stayed in this 1 bedroom plus living room plus kitchen. It was huge with great ceiling height. The owner gentleman was very accommodative. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows, mattresses etc. the kitchen was also stocked up with essentials to use. Washing machine worked perfectly. It has a portable wifi as well which u can take along when u go out. The location is amazing right at the city centre. To drop bags for 800 metres from Bellini’s train station was cumbersome because of cobbled street. Migros and coop were 200-300 metres. The property had so many books to read and toys to play with.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We were having a familly roadtrip and were looking for a get together place, comfy and quiet. Guess what we found, the best option, a lovely chalet with a lot of charm and space, several bedrooms for a bit of intimacy, nice bathrooms and a charming terrasse, all in simplicity. The access is quite simple and not far away from the main road, the view is amasing, and the village is very calm. We would certainly return! All that without mentioning the hospitality of the owner, that welcomed us warmly and showed the place around, made sure that we had all we needed. We recommend the place 100% and would like to again thank the owner for the amasing stay we had.
