The isolation of the place was exactly what I wanted. Jana checked in with me constantly without being in our space. The welcoming sherry, bread and cheese was a classy touch. The accommodation provided for all our needs.

What a great stay. We loved everything starts from location, nature, peaceful and calm atmosphere, comfort, facilities, cleanliness, surrounded by grape farm. We stayed only for one night and that's not enough if you are nature lover. Jenny ensured all of our comfort and needs. Its completely safe. Will be back soon

We loved this home away from home. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed climbing the mountain and feeding the farm animals and milking the goats. The delightful atmosphere of the farm has made our winter holiday great. Thank you very much!

Our stay at Aardvark Bioreserve’s Zebra Cottage was truly exceptional. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable, equipped with luxury kitchen appliances, high-quality bed linen, and pure white towels and robes. The pool with a view was a big bonus. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with spices and an ice maker, made meal preparation a delight. We particularly enjoyed the fresh organic produce and free-range eggs provided by the farm. The outdoor fire-heated hot tub was very nice. The cottage is offering stunning unforgettable views of the Milky Way at night. And of course wildlife during the day, with zebras literally metres from your doorstep. We had a wonderful game drive over the impressive huge land, with stunning views. The peace and tranquility of the location, combined with the opportunity to observe zebras and elands from the comfort of the veranda, made our stay unforgettable. The exceptional attention of Annatjie and her staff, along with the contact upfront, made a difference. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, attending to our every need and even surprising us with freshly baked pie, olives, butter, chicken and homemade jam. Their passion for the farm and the Karoo is evident, and they made us feel truly welcome. Annatjie took us to their biological garden to pick their own vegetables, a nice educational experience! In every aspect, a 5/5 experience. We highly recommend Aardvark Bioreserve’s Zebra Cottage to anyone seeking a luxurious and peaceful retreat in the Klein Karoo. We look forward to returning.

Amazing hosts and location, beautiful views!

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at Karoo Rustic Caravan! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely management family, Waan and his wife and their son. They went out of their way to make our stay special! Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out and made us feel right at home! We stayed in the beautifully restored "old schoolers bus," which was luxurious on the inside and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was soaking in the outdoor jacuzzi under the stars - an unforgettable experience that perfectly captured the peace and magic of the Karoo 💫. We loved every second of our stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommended for kings & queens that are young at heart & looking for a unique and relaxing escape in the beautiful nature of the Karoo!
