Stunning location. Excellent staff particularly Gladstone who was attentive and charming. Cabins well equipped and beds very comfortable. Being a one with nature - the sounds, birds and wildlife were all brilliant.

Beautiful little gem in Cederberg. The unit was clean and very comfortable, especially the beds. Showers were amazing. Modern with a big showerhead. Borehole water was so soft on your skin. Drinking water out of a tap was amazing, crystal clear water. The outdoor tub is a plus, especially at night, as the stars are exquisite. The waterfall trail is a must.

We stayed at the cottage next to the reception (Hangnes) for one night and we would have liked to stay longer. The view from the cottage is very beautiful and our hostess/owner at the reception is a very charming person. This is really a place to relax, to feel comfortable and safe. On the patio there were some comfortable easy chairs and also a table and chairs to eat outside. We did not use the hot tub. It was hot outside already ... The only thing you should be aware of is the fact that you had better buy food and drinks before arriving at the cottage. Otherwise you have to drive back to Clanwilliam.

We had a wonderful stay in Clanwilliam! Adele, the host, was absolutely fantastic, always incredibly kind, helpful, and available for anything we needed. The apartment was spotless and equipped with excellent amenities. We never missed a thing during our stay. P.S. We loved the rooibos jelly and all the little touches she surprised us with throughout our time there – it really made us feel at home. If we return to South Africa, we won’t have any doubts about where to stay – this will be our first choice for sure!

Firstly, you realise you are staying in the most beautifully gardened guest house - coupled with a friendly greeting and some freshly baked muffins (wonderful touch of class!). The Nut Hut itself is very well equipped with plenty of utensils and other provisions needed for self catered accommodation - impressive. The communal lapa was awesome and such a nice place to relax by the pool or watch tv. Truly a gem of a guesthouse run by a lovely team/family! Can not recommend highly enough!

This house was just a gem. We came from a funeral in Vredendal and did not want to travel to Cape Town so we overnight. Sorry that I did not book from Friday already.

Very clean apartment and big, clean comfortable bed. Shower was perfect. Quiet area and other guests did not bother us. Milk in the fridge was a nice surprise. Loadshedding lamps were adequate.

The place was just magic. The views are incredible, it was very quiet and peaceful. Watching the stars at night were one of my favourite thing to do. Great value for money.
