AustraliaOur hosts were incredibly accommodating from airport pick up to drop off. Our 6 day stay was met with constant support from the hosts, which gave us that peace of mind when needing assistance with anything. They even offered to drive us to the closest ATM, the Telekom outlet to buy a SIM, and even to the market on our first day in Honiara. If you’re thinking of hiring a car, no problem! They have a RAV4 that they hire out to their guests for $500 (Solomon $$) per day, which is a reasonable price, considering bond/insurance fees you normally pay from car rental outlets. We would definitely recommend staying at Lonely Hill Apartments. We would definitely go back and stay there. Great value for money, although a 10min drive from the town centre, it’s still a great location, being that it’s closest to the International Airport. 10\10 for sure!

Having the drier and washing machine was an added bonus as we travel light and it worked out perfectly. The staff and security officers were friendly and cheerful.
