Excellent apartments for a couple of days, there is not much space, but everything is located very well, so it is comfortable. There were no pots and pans for cooking, but we didn't need them.

There's nothing that would not make me give five stars to this property. It's just amazing. From the friendliness of the staff to the cleaning of the apartment, everything was perfect. I travelled with my wife and our 1 year old baby and we had a great time, with quietness and privacy. I liked the fact that the property have all amenities we needed (and more), my wife loved the smell of cleanliness and our baby enjoyed the possibility to craw all over the place.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with everything needed for our stay. While not actually in Guimaraes we used Uber (Bolt also available) to get to the town for just 5 Euros each way, which gave us a welcome break from driving. Although on quite a busy road, inside the apartment was peaceful and quiet. The host was easy to communicate with and excellent in answering any questions we had. All in all this was a very good place to stay.

We stayed for 1 week in apartment 106, and really enjoyed it. The apartment is very clean and has all modern amenities, I was very delighted to discover that it even had a dishwasher. The layout is perfect, very spacious with high ceilings and beautiful architecture, and we slept comfortably in both the bed and the sofabed. The location is great, just across the street from a big shopping center and supermarket, and the historical centre is only a few minutes walk away. Joao was an amazing host, and as we have family in Guimarães, this will not be our last stay, we all agree that we would love to make this our second home everytime we are coming to visit in future. Thank you for everything Joao, you truly have made a gem with Gateway House ❤️

Well furnished and equipped apartment in a great location. Sonia was easy to deal with. As others have mentioned the nearby carpark is 30 euros per day but there is plenty of free parking just up the hill.

The check in was easy and quick, the apartments were both identical and wonderful, with all new very high qualify materials, including a high tech Nespresso machine with ample capsules. The other great things were the free parking next door and the tasty elaborate and very varied breakfast every morning delivered to your room at exactly the time we requested. Bread was hot and always fresh fruit, yogurt and variations every day. It was a very high standard continental breakfast.
