5-Star Review for Calel Guesthouse, Palompon, Philippines (April 13–20, 2025) I stayed at Calel Guesthouse for one week and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed — something you rarely encounter with such sincerity. The location is both central and peaceful, making it ideal for exploring Palompon while still enjoying quiet rest. Cleanliness was impeccable. The host and staff deserve a rating of 20 out of 10 — incredibly helpful and genuinely attentive to every guest’s needs. The kitchen was luxurious, and each room featured double air-conditioning, which ensured comfort at all times. The value for money was exceptional. The absolute highlight of my stay was the host himself — by far the most dedicated and caring person I've met during all my travels. Whether it was local advice, practical help, or just warm hospitality, he went above and beyond every day. While the property is already great, it's being continually improved, and the Wi-Fi stability is an area with room for enhancement — though the speed itself was sufficient. I wholeheartedly recommend Calel Guesthouse to everyone, especially first-time travelers to the Philippines. The host is not only welcoming but also provides guidance and help with any issue you might face, making your stay smooth and stress-free.

Me and my whole family was very happy with our stay in Leizel's Bed and Breakfast. The owners Leizel and Morly are very warm and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and overflowing. It was really a "home away from home" experience. We will surely recommend this place to our friends when they go to Palompon, Leyte.
