Absolutely everything, perfect stay. The lodge is absolutely beautiful - 10/10. We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

Ivan is an incredible host, he made me feel at home, caring down to the smallest detail. He is very friendly, a very nice person and he makes sure that you enjoy your stay to the fullest, he has the best will for everything. We had an absolutely lovely stay! Harald is a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, offering great tips for local excursions and activities. One of the highlights of our trip was the private lagoon tour he gave us on his boat—truly unforgettable! The bungalow itself is clean, well-equipped, and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just around the corner, there’s a well-stocked grocery store, which made everything super convenient. The beaches and main attractions are only a few minutes away by car. Although we didn’t have time to use it, there’s a kayak available free of charge, perfect for paddling out to the nearby sandbank. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return. Highly recommended!

This was a last minute booking just for overnight as we were on a long cruise fortunately with an overnight stay in Papeete. This was just what we needed to be relaxing around their beautiful pool, enjoying the sea breeze! The set up is superb with our room seperate to the kitchen & laundry along side the pool with an outdoor lounge area. Tropical breakfast was included. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful beyond belief. Only a 10 minute walk to Moz's Pizza restaurant which was a real fun place to be with delicious food. We plan to return to Villa Sunrise for longer in the future. Bless our hosts.

Wow! Maison Orange exceeded all my expectations. It was spacious, clean, I could use the washing machine, there is a big kitchen to use, the room has a great size,… huge terrace - the location is perfect - very close to beach by the hotel Tipaniers where you can rent a kayak, go scuba diving, take excursions,… If I come back (which I am already planning to) - I will definitely stay here again!

This is great value for a family to stay on Moorea. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a family of four, and the lodge also has a restaurant. The breakfasts were great, particularly the coconut bread. This is a great alternative to a fancy resort for people who are travelling as a family.

    Great location with fantastic views of Captain Cook's Bay, a nice sized pool & a well equipped kitchen. Clean & comfortable (with fluffy towels). Short walk away from restaurants & a groceries, 40min walk to ATM. Chantal was helpful & patient when helping us arrange a hire car. Rooms are in Chantal's home so she's usually available should you have any queries. *General notice: public buses are no longer in service on Mo'orea*

    What a special place! Absolutely phenomenal view of Cooks Bay throughout the property, especially from the upstairs terrace. Chantal was a warm and wonderful host and was always on hand to offer advice/tips on the local area, and kindly offered transfers that were much more reasonably priced than taxis. It very much feels like staying in a home, with a great kitchen and pool available to use. We especially loved her adorable doggies who greeted us enthusiasically each morning! Merci Chantal!

    Access to a lovely kitchen, outdoor table and seating area, with garden. Pool was great. Room facilities OK although wasteful not being able to put plug in sink. From the balcony areas the views of the surrounding mountain basin was amazing. Particularly tranquil in the mornings!

    A wonderful location in the valley surrounded by mountains with a beautiful garden and pool. The Bungalows are clean and spacious with a full kitchen. Julien and Meghan really went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend.
