Amazing place and experience. The house is surrounded by the beautiful forest. From there, we can visit the lake and have trails. The property itself is spectacular and very comfortable.

Very clean, nice decoration, very close to the India Dormida hiking. There was tea and coffee available for breakfast. Jason welcomed us in a very friendly and professional way. He is a great host. He was always reachable to help us during our stay and advised us about what to do in the area.

We stayed 3 nights at La Chachalaca and we really loved it. The view was fantastic. We slept so well, surrounded by the birds chirping and the sound of the wind. We fed the birds daily and we managed to see quite a variety of them, including the mesmerising toucan. Patricia was a very kind host, always available with information and recommendations.

Unassuming house off quiet side street, with individual 'studio apartments' at the back. A few minutes walk from large supermarket and Pan-Am highway (for transport). Lovely, friendly, helpful family owners. Very clean. Locked, gated access and own key to rooms. Excellent wifi/internet/network. Powerpoints situated around the place. Small, compact kitchen, 2 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, few pots, pans, limited crockery/cutlery. Doesn't get too hot, also air-conditioning in room. Multiple payent methods available. Medium sized, comfortable, double bed, bedside table and lamp. Good lighting. Some limited storage, with clothes hangers.

Bodhi hostel is at a great location in Valle. It is just the perfect stay for 2 or 3 nights if you want to explore all the hikes that are around this beautiful town in the middle of the old vulcano crater. Staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great. It is very easy to connect to other guests if you want to. They organize various group activities like hikes, games, yoga and language practice sessions. Restaurants and bars are close by at walking distance. There also a few large supermarkets in the vicinity. I stayed in a private room which only has a fan, no AC, but the temperature in the valley is not super warm so the nights were still comfortable with only the fan on. Shared showers, toilets and kitchen were kept clean and well equipped.
