+ amazing Gardens around the property. + Great hosts (thanks for the great evenings) + superb cooked Breakfast and we even got to enjoy amazing dinner + Close (15 min Drive) to next town = Stratford + Great starting point for hikes from Taranaki / Egmont National Park. Visitor Centre = 40 min drive Highly recommended to stay at TePopo Gardens instead of the towns around.

Our hostess Therese took care of many needs - water, orange juice and milk in the fridge, complimentary breakfast, snacks, chocolate, ... The view on Mount Taranaki is really magnificent ! This is a cosy and comfortable place to stay to explore the Taraniki region, and there is many things to discover and to do.

Such a special and beautiful place. I don't think you will get any better location in the whole of Taranaki (unless you like staying in the middle of the city). The view of Mount Taranaki and the surrounding hills were breathtaking. The house is completely new and has all the smooth, nice commodities of a modern luxury house. Would love to come back there again one day!

The place is very special, one of the best I've been to in NZ so far. The location is perfect and I loved the building. Everything was very clean and cosy. George is a really sweet host. I can only warmly recommend his B&B!

    It was amazing. Because we were arriving late, the receptionist call us to explain how to get the key during the night. The room was comfortable and big enough for two. The kitchen has all the things necessaries. Very clean. We will go back.

    Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very clean and very well maintained Facilities. Large room and bathroom. Well stocked and equipped kitchenette. Comfortable beds. Heatpump for more chilly days. Within walking distance with the local Woolworth. Bonus: Good view of Mount Taraniki from the back lawn. Highly recommended.

    The rooms were spacious. The bathroom was fully equiped with excellent water pressure and a large shower space. There were good kitchen facilities as well. The bed was comfortable and the apartment also contained a spare single bad and sofa bed. Wifi was fast and free. The property was in easy driving distance of Egmont National Park.

    Well maintained. clean place, heated floor and spa, good kitchenette, recycle bins, quiet place during night and upfront parking when you can see your car through the window. 2 min walk to the shop (Woolworths).
