It is so far the best vacation rental that I have been to! The place is modern, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed our stay there and had BBQ at the terrace viewing at the magnificent scene. Luke is a very nice and helpful host. The house is clean. We enjoyed playing boardgames and chatting on the second floor. The beds were comfy. We had a very good sleep.

Great location, 10min walking to the bamboo forest and temple. Get there early, this makes a big difference in crowd sizes in these very touristic places. Go further north for quieter and just as beautiful temples / areas. Helpful host and super useful parking space in kyoto. Plenty of space in the house for a family.
