BananaHouse is the perfect stay in Kefalonia for more than one reason. Firstly the owners, Liverous, Nikki, Kostas, Joana and Dafne are the nicest family and the most perfect host that you can meet. They have a vegetable farm with organic grown tomatos and veggies that taste like childhood. Secondly the location, settled just a few steps near Lourda beach in natural shadows all around the house, where you can find a few tropical trees beside the bananas, there is papaya tree, orange and olive tree and a lot more, a little pieace of heaven. Thirdly the beach - Lourda beach has light blue colour is big with clear water and you can find sun beds or place where you can stay beside them. If you dont like big beaches right behind the path of the beach, there is another one almost empty with few turtle eggs nest. Also is a good starting point to explore the island. The house has a parking and right next to it a supermarket, also good coffee shops in one minute walking, tavernas and one of the best beer bar in the island (Platanos). The internet was very fast and stable. Hot water all the time. BananaHouse is a small jewel on the island. Just perfect!!!

This was such a nice house. You can feel that the owner really put here heart into the decoration. We stayed here about 5 days and it was a very pleasant stay. There is a nice years at the front and there is A/C inside. There are a lot of cute seating areas outside and there is an incredible view on the sunset. I recommend 100% !!

The views are amazing, the villa is very clean and tidy and modern. The pool was perfection and the view from the pool is out of this world. We plan to go back next year. The host was so helpful.

They were exceptional hosts, meticulously tending to every detail. The space exuded comfort and pristine cleanliness, providing an inviting atmosphere. Remarkably, they even catered to my baby's needs by including a conveniently placed potty train in the room. The facilities offered were nothing short of spectacular, undoubtedly ranking among the finest accommodations. Lovely location, beautifully furnished room. Nikos the owner was fantastic, whatsapped me when we landed from his personal number offering to help in any way - he even dropped me off at the local supermarket on his bike to get groceries. His suggestions for reliable car hire, dinner reservations and activities totally made our trip. Big thumbs up from us!

More than what we expected. Well equipped, clean, spacious... everything and more than what we needed. Location is fantastic, on a quiet street, but a mere few minutes to the centre of Argostoli's new entertainment & shopping streets. Thank you Daniella for your friendly spirit and cleaning our room daily - much appreciated. Units are new and modern. Bathrooms are spacious and a bonus of having a washing machine available.

    A stunning villa with beautiful gardens, a wonderful pool and outside kitchen. Amanda is a very welcoming, kind and attentive host and it is in a wonderful location. We wanted for nothing. It was cleaned regularly, there are fresh vegetables and eggs each day. It was simply perfect and couldn’t have been better. Kefalonia is a beautiful island with too many highlights to mention. It is the best place we have ever stayed and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend!

    A beautiful villa, with an amazing pool, outside space and views. The villa had everything you needed, the air con was great, kitchen was excellent and the cleanliness was first class. Kostas was the perfect host, very helpful and kind from the welcome drinks in the fridge, excellent car hire and very helpful on checking out. The area was lovely and Kefalonia is beautiful!

    Everything was exceptional about this property. From the design as a whole to the pool areas, the well equipped kitchens, the furniture and decor and just the general feeling of being in such a beautiful space. It all feels like brand new and is so comfortable and clean. It was perfection. We stayed in both the villas as we had two families holidaying together. This gave us more than enough space. We would switch between the two pools and houses as we pleased.

    Views were amazing. My husband loved the outdoor kitchen. Host was really friendly and lovely. Garden was a bonus. Would definately love to stop again.

    - nice and quiet place to stay - just 15 minutes drive from Argostoli, where you can buy everything - beautiful view to the mountains and sea - huge balcony, you can sped your meals there as well - cleanliness - well equipped kitchen - big fridge - towel and bed-linen changes frequently - helpful owner - spacious apartment - comfortable bed - really good value for money.

    The property is really beautiful, with a wonderful view. Located right next to a lovely restaurant where we had breakfast every day before driving to the beach. Air-conditioning, wifi, comfy beds, equipped kitchen, everything you need. 15-20 minute drive from some of the best beaches on the island.
