We had an unforgettable stay at this cottage right on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir. The location is simply stunning – you step outside, and you’re right by the water, surrounded by mountains and breathtaking views. The property itself is huge, giving plenty of space to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and feel completely private. The house is beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need – from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy bedroom and modern bathroom. It felt like a perfect mix of comfort and nature.

We had an great time at Grili Chero! The location is perfect . we liked this region to much , surrounded by beautiful nature, and a great place to relax away from the city. The cottage itself is cozy, super new and very clean, and has everything you need for a stay <3 <3 it looks like Grili Chero is a hidden gem in Dusheti,<3 perfect for anyone looking to escape into nature while enjoying true Georgian Nature, The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with breathtaking mountain views and a cozy, well-designed space that makes you feel right at home. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, offering delicious food, excellent service, and great recommendations for exploring the area. Everything! The house is beautiful, both big and cosy at the same time. My husband and I stopped in Ananuri for one night but wish we were staying longer! Communication was great, the instructions on how to get there were clear. Parking is outside the gate. On entering the house you can’t help but say Wow! The two bathrooms are big and have nice tiles. There is one on each floor. There are also two double bedrooms upstairs. Both of those have bedside lamps (a rarity in Georgia, we have found!), sockets, and balconies. The bed we slept in was very comfy and had soft clean and snuggly bedding. There is also an internal balcony and seating area. Downstairs is a single bedroom, a kitchenette/ dining area (fully stocked) with a washing machine and a dishwasher. The main living area has a magnificent fireplace, sofa and chairs, and a swing seat. Outside is a whole room with seating, table, and the big fridge is out here. The view from the upper floors takes in the hills and the river. The garden goes down almost to the river if you venture down the steps. There is a Spar nearby too for supplies. All in all it is the best place we have ever stayed in, over many years of holidaying in various countries doing road trips. I’d like to live here!! If we return to Georgia we will absolutely stay here again. The value for money is exceptional.

It’s very cozy and silent place near a beautiful river. It actually looks better than in pictures and it has a private space. Jacuzzi was amazing and I really enjoyed my stay. I also feel very greatful for their service. I had some struggles with my cat and they facilitated the situation with a lot of compassion, support and understanding.

This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!
