This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

Beautiful cabin, the cubby hole double bed worries really well, and the fantastic views from the bed were amazing. The beautiful river Dee is only a hundred yards or so away. Staff all very friendly and was a hugely welcoming place!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The studio was very clean and cosy with nice furnishings . The kitchenette had everything we needed and the host providing milk, butter, bread etc was a thoughtful touch.

We had a great stay at Cairnie Cottage. There was spacious off road park at the rear of the property. Very spacious inside and everything is in excellent order, The kitchen has plenty of utensils and the place was lovely and warm for us arriving and spotless also. There is a private courtyard with table and chairs that is a nice touch. Couldn't fault this stay.

Beautiful property in picturesque surroundings just a short walk from the lovely village of Ballater. Very well positioned to explore the countryside. The fit out of the property is extremely high quality with lovely furniture and very well equipped. We were a family of 7 with a small dog and were very comfortable, loved the log burner! Neil the host was super helpful.
