The communication, welcome and standard of accommodation were all superb. The ferry to Bruny island is just down the road and Kettering itself looks charming. We only stayed for one night as a stopover for the ferry, had we know jus how stunning the property is we may have adjusted our stay to enjoy it for longer. The wifi worked very well which was handy after a few days of no access elsewhere.

A warm, cosy and quirky cottage set apart from main house. Own entrance and a secure little garden for a pet to have a little runaround. Everything that opens and shuts. Great stove, oven and anything a traveller might need to feel comfortable. A small lounge room with a wood burning fire and lots of books. This would be an incredible space to spend a few wintry days in. Owners are lovely, they greet you, they show you things and then they leave you to relax and unwind. Situated in a wonderful little village and close to amazing country and sea drives throughout the south. I hope to be back one day

Lovely house. Very welcoming, neat and tidy. Nice views, lots of wildlife. Well set out house. A lot of character with the sailing memorabilia. As a yachtsman from the northern beaches of Sydney it was like coming home.

    Very comfortable apartment with a functional kitchen and appliances to be self contained if that's what you need. Kermandie Hotel just 10min away for a lovely meal. Bathroom and loungeroom newly renovated and spotless. Bottle of bubbles in the fridge was a lovely unexpected surprise!

    The delightful rooms and well-appointed kitchen - the deep bath was amazing :) So many great touches made it a really cosy, comfortable place to stay - lovely view of the river and the boats and very handy to Huonville and surrounds. Wendy is a wonderful host! The cheese, the bottle of bubbly and beers for afternoon drinks were a fabulous touch. Thank you - we had two amazing relaxing nights there.
