The units are equipped with heating facilities. The location of the ryokan is fantastic - very close to the station (Yamanote line), right next to a convenience store and a very nice riverside park. The staff is very friendly and the ryokan was extremely clean and well maintained, the tatami smelled brand new and the room had a very pleasant fresh wooden smell to it. This might become my new go-to place to stay in Tokyo.

Situated 200 metres from Choen-ji Temple, 寅ホテル 御徒町 TORA HOTEL Okachimachi in Tokyo features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. It is set 300 metres from Tokaku-ji Temple and offers a lift. The ryokan has family rooms. It was super lovely! The facility is good. The house is cute and clean. Everything was new and stylish! The bed was sooo comfortable as well! Highly recommend for a group of 6 people for a comfy stay. I would definitely return here again

It was certainly the right call to book this ryokan for one of the last days in one of a more calmer districts of Asakusa. The customer service was exceptional and staying the night in a ryokan with a private onsen is something that we would never forget. Also the traditional Japanese breakfast is highly recommended.

We absolutely loved staying in this very authentic Japanese property! The place is small but everything is so beautifully arranged and organised that it felt much larger. My kids loved the bunk beds that are built into a cupboard in the wall - it was an adventure for them to sleep there! The fridge was stocked with authentic Japanese drinks and snacks which we enjoyed trying out. Everything was incredibly clean and well organised and the host was very attentive and welcoming. The location is also really good - just 10 minutes walk across the river to the Akasuka neighbourhood.

The host is very friendly and helpful, helped with planning and recommended great places to visit. The room was cozy and the accommodation had everything I needed and more. It was a great first introduction to Tokyo and the surrounding area.
