The property was meticulously kept and was in a beautiful quiet part of Japan. The owner herself picked us up from the train station and drove us back to Oukai Villa Izumi. The stay was relaxing, and the hosts were very helpful ensuring we feel comfortable and set up with anything we might need. This was one of our most serene parts of Japan with beautiful gardens and surrounding nature. The e-bike amenity was appreciated!

The open-air hot-spring bath at Fudoguchikan is available 24 hours, and separate per gender. The ryokan also houses a lounge, a shop and drinks vending machines. A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. All the staff were incredibly kind, and since the place wasn’t too crowded, it was perfect for enjoying the onsen at a relaxed pace. Being close to the airport also saved us travel time, allowing us to make the most of our trip. The kaiseki dinner was beautifully plated and full of care, with both the presentation and flavors being exceptional. This was my first trip with my mom, and we had such a wonderful time together. I would love to visit again in the future with my dad, mom, sibling’s family, and my husband.

The air-conditioned rooms have tatami flooring and Japanese-style futon beds. Absolutely gorgeous setting, friendly staff, lovely room, swimming pool, great walks, fabulous food.

The host was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the rooms were extremely spacious and cozy. The beds and the futons were quite comfortable, and the amenities were incredible.

This hotel is nestled in some incredible nature; there's a waterfall just 20 minutes walk from here. The rooms, amenities, attention to detail, level of service, and the onsen, all exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. I travel a lot. This is one of the best hotels in the last 25 years. It is beyond the categories of stars. It is as if you came to a wonderful old friend and he received you with warmth and love. Excellent layouts with thoughtful solutions down to the last detail. The location is convenient for exploring Osaka and all the nearby cities. The most important thing is the staff. Wonderful people who left the warmest memories of themselves. So if you have the opportunity to stay here - consider yourself a lucky chance that you simply must take advantage of. You will have the best memories in your life. It is worth every dollar spent, regardless of the price. I wish the hotel and its staff good luck and thank you for the hospitality shown.
