They were so very accommodating and such nice hosts. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely fantastic. Their pets are also super cute, the little fluffy dog running around and Tebichi the pig upstairs. The location is also amazing, just a few minutes walk away from Aharen Beach. It was very convenient. We are looking forward to coming back here :-)

We absolutely loved staying with her. What makes a trip memorable is not only the places you visit, but the people you meet. Shizuka is such a person. She has chosen to share her slice of paradise with (international) travelers and we couldn't be more grateful. The homestay is comfortable, tastefully decorated and included all the amenities you could ask for - including guidebooks and local recommendations. Shizuka took her time showing us the property and the facilities. She even made a welcome platter for us with local snacks! Every day, we were greeted with the most beautiful fresh flowers from her garden. When we visited (January 2025), she had two cute baby goats (Linda-chan & Emma-chan). Her garden is a real treasure, with local herbs and fruits. We slept fantastic, since it was very quiet. The local beach around the corner is stunning. It is also the place where my partner proposed to me, making this trip even more memorable. From the bottom of our hearts - thank you Shizuka! We hope to see you again, in Ishigaki or in Luxembourg.

Ubytovanie Wellness pension Coco sa nachádza v destinácii Ishigaki Island menej ako 1 km od miesta Pláž Fusaki Beach a 6,4 km od miesta Múzeum Yaeyama. The owners and family are beyond sweet and helpful. They even lended me a beach towel and shorts for me to go to the beach since I didn’t have any with me, and even let me do some groceries after picking me up from the bus stop! The sweetest hosts I’ve encountered on my travels! Highly recommend staying with them 🩷

Set in Ishigaki Island in the Ishigaki Region, 200 metres from Kabira Bay, Joya features a sun terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Peaceful, charming, no frills & quiet atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The other reviews were accurate that the breakfast is amazing and adds great value to the experience. Would be happy to stay again.

Simple guest house in a quiet village, just steps from a beach with gorgeous sunrises. The friendly English-speaking host provided everything I needed for my first two days on Ishigaki. I loved the carefully prepared meals (even the miso soup was different all four times!)

Just a minute's walk from Fusaki Beach, FUSAKI BEACH RESORT HOTEL & VILLAS features pools, 4 restaurants and aroma healing spa treatments. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Fantastic location, big room and comfortable bed, the restaurants were very good too! The service was extraordinary - at the bars, at the reception and also the little golf cars bringing guests wherever they want to go. We had a blast talking to the very friendly staff and shopping in the too shops.
