Carefully chosen staff. spectacular food 9 course suppers. Had to ask for 1/2 portions after 1st night to get through it. Car would help to get to the beach. Google translate definitely helped.

We have traveled the world and stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and out of all of them, this one is our favorite. The room fits the island relaxed feeling and has a unique style, with everything that is needed. The separate bathroom and kitchen is convenient as well. The shining gem of our entire stay was Shizuka, who explained many things we could do on the island, gave advice, showed us her cute goat, and even surprised us with some very tasty snacks!!! She is really fun to talk to. We hope to visit this wonderful place again someday!

Many different restaurants less than 5 min walk, even though Joyas restaurant is one of the best with lovely traditional tables and music. The Japanese futon beds were also very comfortable and they actually got rid of our back aches! but the best of our stay were the people, they made us feel at home. We got some rainy days and it didn't bother us as we were so comfortable.

Sachi and her husband are very kind and generous people and they treated us very well. They gave us many informations and helped us with our requests. The room was clean and comfortable. I really recommend this place!

The location is absolutely stunning. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were beyond lovely, so polite and helpful. They carried my suitcases to my room and were generally wonderful. The Japanese / Chinese restaurant on site is to die for, such delicious food. They offer a free shuttle service from the airport too, timed perfectly for flights. Everything there just felt easy, like they have you covered.
