From the moment we arrived until the very last minute, our stay at Miyajima Seaside was truly unforgettable. ​The hotel itself is a characteristic architecture, beautifully maintained, located in an enchanting location. ​The impeccable service provided by the entire staff, their kindness and courtesy were remarkable. They demonstrated extreme availability and sensitivity to our needs, ensuring every aspect of our visit was handled with grace and efficiency. ​It is rare to find a place where the setting, the structure, and the service align so perfectly. We wholeheartedly recommend and we look forward to return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The room is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful. I left my JR ticket in the room and the staff is very accommodative. A highly recommended place to stay during vacation.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. The bedroom is clean and comfortable. The dining room has character and the reception is spacious.

I Miyajima, 2,6 kilometer fra Tsutsumigaura-stranden, ligger Kinsuikan, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. The dinner was incredible! They brought it to our room and had an English menu to explain what the different food items were. The onsen was also very nice and we also enjoyed having drinks in the rooftop bar area! I would definitely stay here again!

Itsumoya tilbyr overnatting i Miyajima, 2,3 kilometer fra Tsutsumigaura-stranden og 5 minutters gange fra Fem-etasjes pagode, og har en hage. We had this traditional house all to our selves. Despite it’s traditional look it had all the modern amenities one needs. It was clean and perfectly presented. The host was very accommodating and helped us with directions and activity suggestions. The island is magical and the house is a short walk from the center.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Everything was fantastic - the rooms came with Yukatas, pajamas, vests, tea, water, a towel bag and one face wash set. The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable - that alone made the price well worth it, but add in the baths and lovely rooms & decor - just an unbelievable stay.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. We stayed in the older part of the ryokan and it was spectacular. The rooms have beautiful views and the onsen is heavenly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our meals were delicious and perfectly presented. We had a very romantic stay and enjoyed being on the island at night. Do yourself a favour and wear the yukata - it's the most comfortable clothing I've ever worn. We would love to come back!

Bare 8 minutters gange fra The great Torii og 1,1 kilometer fra Momijidani Park ligger Yamaichi Bekkan, som tilbyr overnatting i Miyajima. The old lady at the front desk who checked us in and helped serve us dinner and breakfast was adorable. She spoke a little bit of English and seemed genuinely excited to see us when we would go in and out of the hotel and made us feel very welcome. 10/10 just for her. The location is directly across from the ferry terminal which is convenient for dropping bags off before exploring the island. I believe Yamaichi Bekkan is associated with the Yamaichi Honten restaurant on the other side of Lawson (Bekkan = "Annex" while Honten = "Main shop") so the dinner and breakfast were surprisingly good. Basically the same food as the restaurant. It's great to walk around the island after the crowds have gone for the day.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Our room was incredible. It was one of our favorite rooms we stayed in during our two weeks travelling across Japan. It had so much character and beauty, from the tatami matt flooring, paper screen doors, beautiful wooden flooring in the bathroom, and bamboo weaving on the ceiling banisters. In our room, we had a fine view of the bustling streets of Miyajima. It was a great view for people watching as tourists and locals visited stores and restaurants. The dinner was great, made with fresh ingredients. It was no doubt one of the best dinners we had in Japan. It consisted of multiple courses, and you were able to choose preferences for each course. This was a nice surprise, as we had stayed in another ryokan in Hakone a few days prior that did not offer a selection for the courses. The sashimi was super fresh, and the pork tonkotsu was terrific.
