I Matsushima, bare 10 kilometer fra Shiogama-helligdommen og 24 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center ligger Matsushima Koumura. Kjempekoselige de som eier! Ble så godt tatt i mot og de vinket lenge etter oss da vi dro. Rommet var topp og fellesbadet var veldig fint og koselig. Enkel vei inn til sentrum. Rommet var kjempefint og behagelig.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The hospitality of the staff, they are so nice and welcoming.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. It’s a ryokan style hotel, with onsen, which allow tattoos and a private onsen too, which is amazing! The views of the ocean are breathtaking, as well as the many small islands that fill the horizon. The staff are beyond amazing and the room was just fantastic! 10/10!

I Sendai, 27 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger Sakunami Onsen Yuzukushi Salon Ichinobo, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Suzukiya Ryokan ligger ideelt til i Kamasaki Onsen i Shiroishi, 49 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, 47 kilometer fra Sendai slott og 48 kilometer fra Zuihoden. Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

I Sendai, 18 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger Saryo Souen, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. Great and I mean GREAT service. The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

I Zao, 38 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger かっぱの宿旅館三治郎, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. The staff is very nice and attentive. The dinner is delicious and sumptuous.

I Zao, 42 kilometer fra Sendai City Community Support Center, ligger 竹泉荘 Chikusenso Onsen, som har et treningsstudio, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. The room, the food, the view, the staffs, the wild cat in the private onsen, and everything else… The ENTHUSIASM, KNOWLEDGE AND WARMTH of the friendly people working in the hotel - Especially Mr. Li Fan - because of his thoughtful arrangements, I delightedly experience the resort’s services and got to see what I wanted to see in the Zao area - with EASE and PEACE like a breeze!!! 🤩🙏 Oh, I must emphasize that - Mr. Li speaks English and Mandarin FLUENTLY - that’s… definitely NOT easy to run into in Japan!!! And Ms. 橫山道子 - She is SUPER FRIENDLY!!! 🙏 I am very happy and grateful for my 一期一會 in 竹泉莊！

TAOYA Akiu ligger attraktivt til i Taihaku Ward i Sendai, 38 kilometer fra Shiogama-helligdommen, 18 kilometer fra Sendai slott og 18 kilometer fra Sakuraoka Daijingu. Taoya Akiu is, in short, fantastic. Location is 2min walking from the bus stop from/to Sendai, but to get there and from there they offer a free shuttle bus (require reservation, ideally now than one day before). The few attractions in the area are all reachable by walking. The resort is huge but services are distributed well and moving around is efficient. Basically everything is included in the price and offered as part of the staying: there are free drink -including alcoholic beverages- and snacks, you can choose your yukata among the different colours avaliable. There are multiple relaxing areas which are all nice and cozy, and there is even a shop inside. The onsen (baths) are gorgeous as you see in the pics. There are 4, two indoor and two outdoor that are assigned in pair to males and females, switching every day (this is standard for Onsen places) so you can try both even if you only stay one night. Check in and out are quick and staff is polite as always in Japan. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet style with quite a huge selection. The room is amazing, large for Japanese standards (and I mean really large) and beautiful with beds in a japense style section in the middle of the room. Super recommended.

I Ishinomaki, 37 kilometer fra Shiogama-helligdommen, ligger Tabist Business Ryokan Duck Ishinomaki Hebita, som har gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering. We loved the decor, and the graciousness of the owners. We would return.
