Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, our waitress for our dinner was very fun to converse with, along with everyone else we spoke with. The dinner was very well made, the facilities were beautiful, and our rooms were everything we could’ve asked for. The location is also excellent in the middle of everything, allowing for an easy walk around Kurokawa.

I Aso, bare 29 kilometer fra Egao Kenko-stadion i Kumamoto og 38 kilometer fra Kumamoto slott ligger Minshuku Asogen. Best Japan experience so far. Everything was great, from the room, the food (dinner + breakfast), the private onsen rooms till the parking in from of the hotel. The welcome was very friendly and relaxed. Everything was explained very clearly.

I Minamioguni, bare 40 kilometer fra Aso-fjellet og 49 kilometer fra Kinrin-sjøen ligger Hanare no Yado Hanagokoro. Amazing onsen experience! The property is pretty much hidden in the mountains and only accessible by car. The rooms are spacious and feel luxurious. We stayed in the house with both indoor and outdoor private onsen and it was lifechanging.

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan features 5 hot-spring baths, including a 30-metre long cave bath. Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It was excellent! It was the highlight of our trip! Everything was amazing and very relaxing. Excellent location, accommodation, Onsen, staff, food, everything!

Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. The views and location were sublime. As soon as we arrived the staff went out of their way to make our stay special in every way. The food was also amazing and the onsen was relaxing.
