At the ryokan, all units are allergy-free and soundproof. At the ryokan, all units come with bed linen and towels. Everything was organized and well-prepared, starting from check-in; extremely friendly and helpful staff and they speak English so well, which was a plus! The room was great and the bed/mattress was very comfortable. I liked how they integrated both traditional Japanese-style design and the modern technology in the building and the room too. Good that there was free parking was provided, right outside the entrance!

They offered lots of services that make touring Koya-san easier, such as a night tour and baggage storage after check-out. All meditation and ceremonies had clear, informative explanations in English and Japanese. Out room was modern and very comfortable, it far exceeded our expectations.

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. We're so glad we decided to stay a night at Seikoro, it's an experience our family will never forget. The food was incredible and the service amazing. Staff were so helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.
