Beautiful building, incredibly lovely and helpful staff. Meals were delicious and plentiful. I proposed to my new fiancee here and I'm so glad I did because the staff and the hotel could not have been any better.

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Very clean and modern. Lovely rooms and great food

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Friendly staff. Lovely garden. Nice facilities.

Me and my wife toured Japan for our honeymoon and one of our stops was Tonosho, Shodoshima. We stayed at Kikuya Ryokan and couldn't be more happy with our decision. A fantastic location just steps away from the Tonosho ferry terminal, within a 5 minute drive/bus from landmarks such as Angel Road, and last but certainly not least, our gracious host Miya-san. A cozy and spacious tatami room, amenities, yukata, tea, presents and so much more. Miya-san was one of the kindest souls we've ever met and was instrumental in making Tonosho an unforgettable experience. We'll never forget it and are so thankful for her hard work! We'll meet again, one day!

Featuring free WiFi and a hot spring bath, Tenku Hotel Kairo offers accommodation in Tonosho. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. Absolutely lovely! Beautiful and majestic old-school onsen hotel. Fantastic view. Lovely onsen. I changed my plans just to enjoy it for another day. Note: there is a shuttle bus pick-up at the port (bus will come within 15 minutes when you call (before 6pm)) - you'll see the pick-up point in front of the low building). There are also drop-offs scheduled in the morning. Great big breakfast. Bicycle available to order.

Old-school resort hotel with retro bubble era elegance and classic hospitality. Shuttle bus toAngel Road and various ports available with advance reservation. Loved the yukata corner and gift shop. Great onsen and spacious room with outstanding views.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. We enjoyed our one-night stay a lot! Free parking, very close and walking distance to the Kotohiragu area. The room itself was very spacious for 2 people. The onsen was also very nice, there were multiple hot tubs (including jet/jacuzzi ones) indoors and outdoors, and they switch the onsen between male and female overnight. There's also restaurants within the hotel itself. The deco of the hotel along the main walkway and the reception was quite traditional and was nice to appreciate.
