Everything was perfect: - location is in the very center of the town, 12min walk from train station - employees at reception are very nice and helpful - rooms are clean and cute, as always with Onyado Nono hotels - very good onsen : several hot springs baths, and even 4 private baths onsen rooms - there are available sets of yukata to wear in the hotel - welcome drinks and juices in the lobby are pleasant , as well as free ice creams, yakult and evening ramen - breakfast was excellent and the staff made the effort to change my menu for the 2nd morning (note : there is no western breakfast but this is not an issue for me) - dinner was excellent, the employee did her best to explain the English menu, it was very clear

This place is magnificent, beautifully located in the forest, right next to a river and a waterfall. The staff were superb, friendly and professional. We had a private onsen in our room, which was the best we’ve ever had - open air with a stunning forest view. The dinner was amazing and delicious. The ryokan also had a marshmallow BBQ station!

Beautiful setting, food is excellent and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. We were delayed due to an accident on the train line. The staff picked us up from the station and delayed our dinner booking until we arrived over an hour late..

The design of the Oki Olive guesthouse is exceptional with incredible attention to detail at every turn. It is a beautiful space to relax in with multiple location options to rest like chairs looking out into garden, a tatami floor living room, dining table, bath, and shower. Our host was gracious and attentive and was open to making recommendations for dinner and activities. The tour of his olive farm was an added delight. We were looking for a more rural experience, so the property’s location worked well for us! We used a rental car to get to the property. There is a parking space provided.

A fantastic location just steps away from the Tonosho ferry terminal, within a 5 minute drive/bus from landmarks such as Angel Road, and last but certainly not least, our gracious host Miya-san. A cozy and spacious tatami room, amenities, yukata, tea, presents and so much more. Miya-san was one of the kindest souls we've ever met and was instrumental in making Tonosho an unforgettable experience. We'll never forget it and are so thankful for her hard work! We'll meet again, one day!
