We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this place. The area is stunning and the accommodation is spacious and cozy, and had everything we needed. It was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to stay in this ryokan. We were also able to choose between Japanese and European style breakfast in the morning which was nice. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay there longer. Thank you :)

From the moment we arrived, the attention and care from the staff were exceptional. We are especially grateful to the young woman who kindly assisted us in English—she was incredibly helpful and patient, especially since it was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese setting and we were a bit clumsy with the customs. Thanks to her and the whole team, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay. The room with a private onsen and sauna was absolutely incredible, offering stunning views that made the experience even more special. The traditional dinners and breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful—each meal was a true feast, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The area around the ryokan is also beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a walk or simply to relax and take in the atmosphere. We also really appreciated the convenient shuttle service to and from Kagaonsen Station—it made the logistics of getting there effortless. We wholeheartedly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and luxurious Japanese experience

Located a 5-minute drive from JR Kanazawa Station, Ryokan Yamamuro offers Japanese-style guestrooms with free WiFi. Omicho Market and Kanazawa Castle Park can both be reached with a 5-minute walk. This is a family-run ryokan, and Bungo-san and his mother are wonderful hosts. We had booked a large room and it had a great view of a garden - very quintessentially Japanese. Everything was very comfortable and clean. We were a little apprehensive about the shared toilet and shower, but they're maintained well, and we were lucky to be able to use them without any wait on both days of our stay. The common hot-tub is extremely relaxing and they have a nice system where guests can take turns using it privately. The location of the ryokan is great and we walked to most of Kanazawa's sights. Bungo-san gave us good sightseeing and restaurant recommendations and he and his mom also helped with multiple taxi bookings. We enjoyed staying here.
