The rooms themselves are lovely, the perfect size, and very very clean. The owner, Raeko, is an absolute delight, and is incredibly kind and easy to talk to. I would happily stay again just to see her alone! The location is perfect, right next to the gorgeous temple and the Main Street.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 700 metres from North Disaster Earthquake Monument. The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.6 km from Kinumaki Shrine. Although it takes a bit more effort to get there, I really love the atmosphere of this place. I didn't meet the host the first night and felt a bit cold, but I didn't mention it. To my surprise, the second night I found a hot water bottle in my bed before I went to sleep! The last bus from Kinosaki Onsen leaves a little after 5pm, so if you want to stay in Kinosaki Onsen until the evening, cycling is a good option. The bicycle was really great to ride! Genbudo Cave is also worth visiting; I cycled there after soaking in the onsen. Thanks for all the help from the host!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 43 km from Miki History Museum. Guests can use the hot tub and the public bath, or enjoy mountain views. Outstanding service, all staff were amazing! The room was stunning, offering everything you could possibly need was at your fingertips. Would highly recommend spending the extra for a room with private onsen - it was heavenly.

I loved the room and the dark blue walls went so well with the wood and tatami floor. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in kinosaki.

The 4-star ryokan has garden views and is 4.2 km from Seto Shrine. The ryokan offers a hot spring bath and a housekeeping service. Wonderful place and people! Everything was great. Arrived at peak sakura blossom and it was among the best places to see it on our trip. Staff recommendations about our walking routes and public baths were also very helpful. English language level of main staff members was high (the best we've met in Japan so far), so it made communication very easy. Adjusted breakfast for our needs and it was excellent both in terms of taste and experience. Will definitely come back again.
