Spend my first days in Japan at Yurakusoan, and what a stay it was! It was amazing to experience traditional japanese lodging and cuisine at the same time, and also the onsen baths! The staff were very friendly, The shuttle bus service was very convenient, bringing you smoothly back and worth to Sapporo station.

El Tokachigawa Moor Onsen Seijyakubow està situat a Otofuke i disposa de spa, bany públic i aire condicionat. From the shuttle pickup at Obihiro station to drop off, Seijyakubow far exceeded any expectations I had for onsen/ryokans. Our greeter was Ms. K. Shoji. She provided a thorough explanation of the property & use of the facilities. She exuded a cheerful warmth that made us feel welcomed. The furo just outside of the room was private yet in view of a snowy courtyard. The kaiseki dinner & breakfast were traditional & well customized to our party esp for me w/shellfish allergies. After dinner, the onsen provided a free shuttle to an illumination site, which was quite dramatic. From the attention to detail, service & hospitality, Tokahigawa Moor Onsen Seijyakubow was a memorable experience.

Chalet Ivy Jozankei offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 27 km of Sapporo Station and 33 km of Shin-Sapporo Station. What I like about the hotel is everything. The room is spacious, clean and very well designed. As a corner suit, the view is amazing. We feel like staying at home rather than in a hotel. The dinner is exceptional. The open-air onsen is calm & relaxing. The best of all is the staffs and their services.

32 km from Sapporo Station in Jozankei, Okujozankei Onsen Kasho Gyoen offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath. We had the best stay at Okujozankei. From the moment we pulled up to the property, we were spoiled. The staff were attentive and thoughtful. The building and garden were beautiful. The room itself was clean and so cost. Meals were absolutely delectable and served in generous portions as well.

Set 28 km from Sapporo Station, Kuriya Suizan offers 5-star accommodation in Jozankei and features an open-air bath, a garden and a bar. This was the best onsen experience I've ever had. Room was amazing with a sauna and onsen actually in the room. However, it was the staff and the chef that made the stay the best ever! They took into consideration an allergy my son had to certain food type and went above and beyond to accommodate. They were all wonderful.

Everything from the check in experience, the food, the service. It was winter solstice and they prepared yuzu bath for good luck. They also clean your shoes as they keep them.

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Otaru Geihinkan is a recently renovated ryokan set in Otaru, 8.6 km from Otaru Station. This 3-star ryokan offers luggage storage space. Everything. Really outstanding. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is literally meters from the sea. It's a little hard to find but totally worth it when you get there. It's a little outside town but there are really efficient bus services so not an issue if you want to go in for dinner and have a drink. The breakfast was one of our highlight meals of our 2 weeks in Japan. We loved our stay.
