Exceptional service from the minute our car arrived at the hotel entrance. The level of service here sets a new benchmark for our future Japanese stay (which has always been highly positive). Tranquil ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, Japanese garden, indoor and outdoor onsen, tatami flooring throughout, spacious room with beautiful view of Shogawa, free flow of coffee and drinks and a shop selling local arisanal products at reasonable prices . We tried a few local products and were blown away. Especially love the chocolate from Patisserie Vert and the folded mugwort mochi with red bean paste filling. The staff recommended 2 restaurants , 5 minutes walk away for highly rated local Ayu fish meals. Lots of blooming June flowers everywhere. Perfect location. Only 15 mins drive to see the beautiful Shogawa Gorge and around 15 mins to Tonami City for shopping.

Loved the hotel. Location was a little far out for us. Taxi back and forth to town was about $50 USD each way and some taxis only took cash. Hotel and staff were exceptional.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was huge and had all the necessary amenities. The area, although touristy during the day, was always very quiet and noise-free. At night, it was very quiet and peaceful and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Everything was very clean, and the staff was super friendly.

Great location. Beatiful little apartment. Host was incredibly helpful and gave a thorough explanation as well as documentation about the stay and the city. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants and transportation methods.

Beautiful 150 year old building. Only 2 rooms so very private. You get your own garden and hot spring water in the bathroom. Service was excellent. We had the dinner package, which was fantastic. The chef was fantastic.
