A fantastic experience. The staff are extremely helpful, be it with recommendations for restaurants or reservations. The Japanese breakfast was excellent. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Really able to hit a couple of items off with this in. I love that they have English speaking staff. I'm surprised to meet fellow Filipinos working there. It was such an awesome welcome. The rooms were amazing and spacious. I slept like a baby with the futon they prepared for me. Ordered a traditional breakfast which did not disappoint. And the private bath really soothed my tired bones after long walks going around Kyoto. Would definitely stay there again!

The staff were amazing. We felt very spoilt and it was very restful. The private onsen was unrivalled. The meals were an absolute highlight - being able to experience traditional Japanese style. Attention to detail was amazing.

Wonderful Ryokan - serene location with onsen which was fabulous . Good sized room . Staff were lovely and the full Japanese breakfast was ‘different ‘ but an amazing experience . Dressing gown , slippers and traditional clothing provided which added to making it a unique Japanese experience . Shuttle service to and from the station is also a big plus and extremely helpful.

Exceptionally friendly, food outstanding and room utterly clean. They were so happy and excited about my 15month old baby and made sure he was comfortable as well. Ryokan and Onsen experience was one of a kind. I wish I could have booked more than one night.

I loved this Ryokan - it was a little far from town but that is what we were wanting. It was so beautiful and a great experience for Japanese culture. I loved experiencing the traditional breakfast. The tea and treat you get at the start was also super fun. The private onsen was amazing and great for people with tattoos

The outdoor onsen was quite pleasant. It was just us when we went to the onsen so in a way it was like our own private onsen. The futon was very comfortable. The shampoo was really nice smelling and the experience when we were waiting for our rooms to be made was pleasant.

It looks new and modern but they found the way to keep the tradition japanese atmosphere inside the hotel. There fountains with koi, zen gardens, kabuki mask on the walls illuminated by traditional japanese lamps. The tatami rooms have everything you can ask for a complete experience in a ryokan, in particular if you get the one with the private bath. Food is simply delicious.
